Chang Hong

Economist at United States Department of Agriculture

Chang Hong is an Economist in the Economic Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She received her Ph.D. in economics from UC Davis and MBA from University of Hawaii at Manoa. Previously she was an Assistant Professor of International Economics at Clark University, and a Research Officer in the Research Department at the International Monetary Fund. Her research interests span a wide range of theoretical and empirical topics in international trade, with a specific focus on U.S.- China trade issues. Her research has been published in leading academic journals, including Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Canadian Journal of Economics, China Economic Review, Journal of Japanese and International Economics, and Journal of Asian Economics.
