Christian Hott is an Economist in the Government and Industry Affairs unit of Zurich Financial Services (Zurich). Before joining Zurich in January 2012 he worked for seven years in the Financial Stability Group at the Swiss National Bank. Previous to this position he worked as a self employed Economic Consultant, as a Lecturer at the University of Sofia, and as a Scientific Assistant at the Chair of Economics at the Technical University of Dresden. He also conducted different projects with the Ifo Institute for Economic Research in Munich. Christian Hott holds a PhD in economics from the Technical University of Dresden and a Master's degree in economics from the University of Konstanz. His main research interests are asset pricing, behavioural finance and the regulation of the financial sector.
