Christiane Krieger-Boden

Christiane Krieger-Boden is an experienced Researcher at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. She collaborated in numerous expert reports for German federal and state ministries, for the European Commission and the IMF. Her research interest focuses on the regional effects of the European integration process, regional effects of subsidies, and the economics of borders and trade barriers. Her publications in books, national and international journals deal inter alias with regional and sectoral adjustment processes in the European Union, chances and risks of the monetary union for European countries and regions, review and appraisal of national and European regional policies.
