Christopher Adam

Professor of Development Economics at University Of Oxford

Christopher Adam is Professor of Development Economics at the Department of International Development at the University of Oxford, UK. He is a Fellow of the European Development Network (EUDN), co-editor of the Oxford Review of Economic Policy, and an associate editor of the Journal of Development Economics. He is a Visiting Scholar at the International Monetary Fund and has served as an advisor in the UK Department for International Development (DFID). His research focuses on the macroeconomics of low-income countries, particularly those of sub-Saharan Africa and covers issues of fiscal, monetary and exchange rate policy; regional integration; public investment, debt, growth and structural change in low-income countries; and the economics and political economy of aid.
