Christopher Heady is currently a Professor in the School of Economics at the University of Kent. Previously, he was Head of Tax Policy and Statistics at OECD and before that he was Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Bath. He has also held faculty positions at Yale University and University College London as well as being a Research Associate at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. He has also worked on tax policy as a Consultant for the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the International Monetary Fund. He is an economist and obtained his first degree from the University of Cambridge and a PhD from Yale University
