Claudio Ferraz is a Professor of Economics in the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the the Department of Economics at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and the Scientific Director at J-PAL Latin America & the Caribbean. His research focuses on economic development, political economy, and public economics, in particular studying governance and accountability in developing countries and consequences for politics and public service delivery. Claudio earned his PhD in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley.
