Claudio Michelacci is Professor of Economics at the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance, on leave from CEMFI, and Research Fellow at CEPR. He has held visiting appointments at MIT, University of Southern California, the London School of Economics and the University College London. His research focuses on the functioning of labour markets, the determinants of growth and the analysis of business cycles.
In these fields he has edited books, organised academic conferences, and published several articles in top academic journals. He has participated in several research projects funded by the Spanish Minister of Economics, the Ramon Areces Foundation and the European Research Council. He is Editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association.
