Clément Gorin is a research engineer at Paris School of Economics and a lecturer at ENS de Lyon in the field of quantitative spatial economics. His research and teachings revolve around the application of machine learning models and GIS techniques to applied economic analysis, along with econometrics methods. His current research analyses the evolution of urbanisation in France from a historical perspective, notably by designing image recognition algorithms that extract automatically the information represented in various collections of historical maps.
