Codruța Mare

Professor of Statistics and Econometrics at Babeș-bolyai University

Codruța Mare is a Professor of Statistics and Econometrics at the Department of Statistics, Forecasts, Mathematics, PhD coordinator in Cybernetics and Statistics, and the Scientific Director of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Data Science, Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She is the leader of WP1 “Towards a European Data Space” and co-coordinator of the Diversity Team of the project “Digital Finance - Reaching New Frontiers (DIGITAL)”, project number 101119635 through the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions for Industrial Doctoral Networks (MSCA DN), among others. She was the Grant Award Coordinator and MC member for Romania of the Cost Action CA 19130 FinAI – Fintech and Artificial Intelligence in Finance – Towards a Transparent Financial Industry, 2020-2024, fin-ai.eu. Throughout her career, she acted both as project manager and member in public or private funded projects. Her interests are related to Econometrics and Spatial Econometrics applied for daily life.
