Cosimo Pancaro is a Team Lead in the Stress Test Modelling Division of the Directorate General Financial Stability and Macroprudential Policy of the European Central Bank. Prior to joining the ECB, Cosimo worked as post-doctoral fellow at the University of Lausanne and as consultant at the World Bank Group. His research interests focus mainly on financial stability and empirical banking. He published several academic and policy articles. He holds a PhD in economics from the European University Institute and a MSc in economics from the University of Essex.
