Cristian Huse holds the Chair of Applied Microeconomics at the University of Oldenburg. His research interests comprise Applied Econometrics, Applied Microeconomics, Environmental and Energy Economics, and Industrial Organization. His recent research focuses on the performance of policy instruments and the uptake of renewable energy. Professor Huse’s work has been published in scientific journals in Economics and in the Sciences, such as the Economic Journal, the Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, and Nature Energy. Professor Huse, who is a German and Brazilian national, holds a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and is originally from Rio de Janeiro.
