Cristina Herghelegiu has been a member of the Chief Economist Team of DG GROW at the European Commission since 2020. Prior to that, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She received her Ph.D. in economics from the Paris School of Economics in 2018. Her research interests lie at the intersection of international trade and industrial organization.
