Daniel Baksa

Economist at Institute of Capacity Development

Daniel Baksa is an Economist at the Institute of Capacity Development (ICD) of the IMF. Prior to joining the Fund he worked as a macroeconomic model developer and analyst at several policy institutions in Europe, such as the Fiscal Council of Hungary, the Central Bank of Hungary, the Prague-based OGResearch, the Bank of Lithuania and the European Central Bank. His research covers DSGE-OLG-models, monetary and fiscal policy interactions, and the impact of aging on the medium-term economic development. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Central European University.
