Daniela Dias

Economist in the International Finance Division at Federal Reserve Board Of Governors

Daniel A. Dias is an Economist in the International Finance Division of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. His research interests include sovereign debt, international trade, monetary economics and productivity and growth. Prior to joining the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Dias was an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and an Economist in the research department of the Central Bank of Portugal. Dias received a bachelor in economics from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, a M.Sc. in applied econometrics from the Universidade Tecnica de Lisboa, an M.A. in economics from UCLA and a Ph.D. in management from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
