David Cicero

David C. Cicero is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Alabama. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from the University of Virginia. His research focuses on agency issues in publicly-held corporations, corporate governance, and executive compensation. He has published papers in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Journal of Corporate Finance. Before entering academia, he spent time practicing corporate law and as a Financial Economist with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
