David A. Jaeger holds a Vertretungsprofessur at the University of Bonn. He received his B.A. from WIlliams College and his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. He was the first winner of the Upjohn Institute Dissertation Award, is listed in Who's Who in Economics and has received a research fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung. In addition to Bonn and William and Mary he has held regular and visiting positions at Princeton University, the City University of New York Graduate Center, Hunter College, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Professor Jaeger's research focuses on immigration, education, conflict, and applied econometrics.
