David Ubilava is an associate professor of economics at the University of Sydney. His research applies granular data to state-of-the-art econometric models, exploring critical societal issues, such as conflict and violence, that contribute to and result from climatic shocks and global commodity price movements. His work has been published in esteemed field and interdisciplinary journals, including the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, World Development, and Global Environmental Change. Dr. Ubilava serves as a co-editor of Food Policy and holds the position of associate editor of the American Journal of Agricultural Economics.
