David Vestin

David Vestin defended his PhD-thesis “Essays on monetary policy” at IIES, Stockholm University, in 2001. Between 2001 and 2008 Vestin worked at the research department of the ECB. Vestin joined the Riksbank in 2009, working as head of modelling and later as deputy head of the monetary policy department and is currently a senior adviser in the research division. His main research interests are monetary policy and macroeconomics. He has published work in leading field journals like the Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of Econometrics and Journal of Money, Credit and Banking.
