David Welsch

Professor of Economics at University of Wisconsin–Whitewater

David Welsch is a Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He received his PhD in Economics from Indiana University in 2005. Most of Dr. Welsch's research focuses on education policy. This includes several studies examining the competitive effects in K-12 education policy, however, he has completed a wide array of applied empirical projects on many different issues. He has published in Applied Economics, Contemporary Economic Policy, Economics of Education Review, Education Economics, Education Finance and Policy, The Journal of Labor Research, Research in Economics, The Southern Economic Journal, as well as in other journals.
