Denise Garcia

Denise joined the FSI team in 2018. She contributes as author for insurance and fintech topics in FSI publications and e-learning tool. Denise represents the BIS in the following working groups of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS): Fintech Forum; Capital, Solvency and Field Testing; and Market Conduct. Previously, she held various positions in regulatory, supervisory and international affairs at the Insurance and Surety National Commission of Mexico (CNSF), most recently as Director of research and development and in charge of innovation initiatives. Denise holds a degree in business administration from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a diploma in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP), Mexico.
