Executive Manager of Foreign Trade at National Confederation of Industry

Diego Zancan Bonomo is Executive Manager of Foreign Trade at the National Confederation of Industry – Brazil, Brasília, since 2013. He was Senior Director at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Washington, and Senior Director for Policy at the Brazil-U.S. Business Council, Washington, from 2011 to 2013; Executive Director of the Brazil Industries Coalition, Washington, from 2008 to 2011; and Adviser to the Minister of Strategic Affairs at the Executive Office of the Brazilian President, Brasília, from 2007 to 2008. Before that, he held several trade-related positions at the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo, São Paulo, from 2003 to 2007, and was Associate Consultant at Brasilinvest, a São Paulo-based merchant bank. He has a B.A. and M.A. in International Relations from the Catholic University of São Paulo, São Paulo, and received training in trade policy, economics, and law in Boston, Brussels, Geneva, and Washington.
