Doireann Fitzgerald is a Senior Research Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota. She also serves as a Faculty Research Fellow at the NBER. Her research focuses on international trade and international macroeconomics. She received a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University and a BA from University College Dublin. Her work has appeared in the American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies, and the Journal of International Economics, among others.
