Dong Yan is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) and a Research Fellow at the Swedish House of Finance (SHoF). Dong obtained her Ph.D. in Finance in 2015 from HKUST Business School and joined the Stockholm School of Economics since then. Dong’s research interest lies in the interaction of corporate financing and investment. She has published at the Review of Financial Studies. Her current work covers how the stock market affects private firms’ investment through an information spillover channel, and how callable bonds reduce debt overhang.
