Eddie Casey

Chief Economist/Head of Secretariat at Irish Fiscal Advisory Council, Adjunct Lecturer/Assistant Professor at University College Dublin

Eddie Casey was seconded to the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council in 2013 and joined as an Economist in 2014. He was previously employed as an Economist in the National Treasury Management Agency and as a Research Assistant in the Economic and Social Research Institute and Central Bank of Ireland. His research has primarily focused on macroeconomic forecasting. Eddie has also taught European Economy at University College Dublin and will complete his Ph.D in Economics there in 2019.
