Elena Krasnokutskaya received her Ph.D from Yale University in 2003.
Her research covers a range of issues which are at the center of policy debate such as preferential treatment of small businesses in public procurement, gains from globalization, international trade in professional services by means of online markets, and impact of regulation of subcontracting activities on the cost of public procurement. She made important contributions to the development of methodology used in the analysis of auction markets.
