Elizabeth Setren is the Gunnar Myrdal Assistant Professor of Economics at Tufts University. Dr. Setren received is her Ph.D. in Economics from MIT. Before joining Tufts, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Bureau of Economic Research and was an Assistant Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Her research in the economics of education and labor economics includes studying school desegregation, the impact of Boston charter schools on special education students and English Language Learners, the scaling of the Boston charter sector, and the effects of education technology.
