Elizabeth Wrigley-Field is an Assistant Professor of Sociology and an affiliate of the Minnesota Population Center at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She studies contemporary and historical mortality in the United States, with a particular focus on racial inequality. She is particularly interested in developing formal demographic methods to model complex stratification processes.
