Ellen Ryan is a Financial Stability Expert in the ECB's Directorate General for Macroprudential Policy and Financial Stability. Her focus is on stability risks arising from commercial real estate markets in the euro area. She has previously worked on a range of financial stability topics such as the development of macroprudential frameworks, risks in the investment fund sector and financial stability risks arising from Brexit. Prior to joining the ECB she worked for the Central Bank of Ireland and in the private sector. She holds a PhD in Economics from University College Dublin.
