Enrique Seira is an Associate Professor of Economics at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). He has also worked in the Mexican Treasury, the Ministry of Economics, and the Mexican Central Bank. Enrique's research interests lie in the development economics, credit markets, and political economy. Enrique holds a B.A in Economics from ITAM and a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University. He is also a research affiliate at The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL).
