Eric Schneider is Professor in the Department of Economic History at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research interests lie in historical economic demography broadly. A large part of his work analyses how health conditions have changed over time with a particular interest in child and adolescent health, but he has also studied fertility gradients by socioeconomic status in pre-Industrial England and historical living standards.
