Eric Taylor is an associate professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a research fellow at CESifo. He studies the economics of education, focusing on labor and employment relationships in the education sector, and teaches courses in applied econometrics and personnel economics. His research on the teacher workforce has included questions on hiring decisions, job design, training, and job performance evaluation.
