Erika McEntarfer is the Lead Economist for the Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics Research Group at the U.S. Census Bureau's Center for Economic Studies. She obtained her B.A. from Bard College and her Ph.D. in economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Her primary research is in labour economics, particularly the reallocation of labour over the business cycle. Her research has been published in the American Economic Review, the Journal of Business and Economics Statistics, and Economica. At Census, she leads a research team working to develop new statistical measures on worker and firm dynamics from linked employer-employee data for the United States.
