Ernesto Villanueva is an economist at the Microeconomic Analysis Division of the Banco de España. Previously, he was an assistant profesor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He holds a PhD in Economics from Northwestern University and his research interests lie in the empirical analysis of household finances and labour markets.
