Eszter Czibor

Postdoctoral Scholar, Department of Economics at University Of Chicago

Eszter Czibor is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Department of Economics of the University of Chicago, and in July 2019, she will be joining Nesta's Innovation Growth Lab. She obtained her PhD in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. She is an applied microeconomist with a keen interest in organizational behavior. Her goal is to better understand and improve incentive schemes and evaluation processes, using experiments as well as naturally occurring data. She is particularly interested in exploring women’s labor market outcomes from a behavioral perspective. Besides using experiments as a tool to answer particular research questions, she is also passionate about advancing experimental social science as a field. She works on identifying and promoting actionable steps to improve the reliability of experimental findings.
