Ethan Ilzetzki is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the London School of Economics and Affilliate of the Centre for Macroeconomics and Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Pollicy Research. His research focuses on macroeconomics, fiscal policy, and international economics. Ethan holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion: Israel Institute of Technology, an M.A. in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland. He has held policy and research positions at the International Monetary Fund and the U.S. Department of Treasury.
