Evžen Kočenda is Professor of Economics at the Institute of Economic Studies of the Charles University in Prague. He has taught at the Charles University, the New York University, the Universite Paris IX – Dauphin and worked also as a Consultant for the World Bank. Research Fellow of the William Davidson Institute at the University of Michigan Business School, CESifo (Munich) and IOS (Regensburg). Main areas of research include applied econometrics, international finance and European integration. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Houston.
