Felix Hufeld

President at Federal Financial Supervisory Authority

Felix Hufeld is President of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) in Germany. He previously served as an Executive Director at Bafin until March 2015. He was an Operating Partner and Partner at Westlake Partners. Mr. Hufeld was one of Westlake Partners's initiators and partner primarily focused on operational issues vis-à-vis its portfolio companies. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Marsh Germany, Austria and Northern Europe of Marsh & Mclennan Companies Inc for more than eight years. Mr. Hufeld worked at Dresdner Bank as their Global Head Group Corporate Development, which included all mergers and acquisitions activities for Dresdner. Prior to that, he worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for almost eight years, in the end as a Principal, primarily focusing on the financial services industry. He serves as Chairman of Supervisory Board of inex24 AG. He served as Chairman of Marsh Affinity. In 1988, Mr. Hufeld earned a Master of Public Administration at Harvard University and studied Law at the Universities of Mainz and Freiburg, Germany.
