Fernanda Llussá

Assistant Professor of Economics and Business at NOVA University Lisbon

Fernanda Llussá is Assistant Professor of Economics and Business at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, in Portugal. Fernanda completed her Ph.D. in Economics at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2003. Her master degree at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, in Brazil, resulted in the thesis "Credibility and Public Debt Management: A Case Study of Brazil", awarded the National Prize in Economics by Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES), and published as a book. Fernanda has conducted research at the Harvard Institute for International Development, on geography, institutions and regional growth in Brazil.
