Francesca Borgonovi

Francesca is the Head of Skills Analysis in the Centre for Skills in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development where she is responsible for the biennial Skills Outlook publication and is a British Academy Global Professor at the Institute of Education - University College London. In the past, she was responsible for analytical and development work in the OECD-led international assessments (PISA and PIAAC). Her research interests include comparative education and skills policies, factors that shape skills development and effective skills use, disparities in academic achievement and self-rated beliefs (by gender, SES and migrant status), test-taking motivation and engagement, trust, and student well-being. Francesca holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
