Francesca Caselli is an economist in the Fiscal Affairs Department of the IMF. Previously she worked in the IMF Research Department where she contributed to the World Economic Outlook, and in the IMF European Department. Her research interests include applied econometrics and international economics. Her research has been published in the Journal of International Economics, the European Economic Review, and the IMF Economic Review, among others. Before joining the IMF, she worked at the OECD and was a visiting researcher at the Bank of Italy. She holds a Ph.D. in International Economics from the Graduate Institute in Geneva.
