Francesca is an Associate Economist in the Office of the Chief Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London. Her research interests are in the area of development economics; her work focuses on the drivers of international migration, on labour market opportunities for migrants and returnees and on the impact of shocks on health outcomes (e.g. on how the transition from planned to market economy affected anthropometric measures).
