Francesco Corsello is an Advisor in the Economic Outlook and Monetary Policy Directorate at the Bank of Italy. His policy work has been recently focused on inflation developments in the euro area, and he heads the Inflation Analysis Unit. His research interests and publications focus on applied econometric methods and models relevant to macroeconomics. Previously, he worked in the Risk Management of the Bank of Italy, and in the DG Statistics of the European Central Bank. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University.
