Francesco Furlanetto is a Principal Researcher in Norges Bank Monetary Policy. He holds a PhD in economics from University of Lausanne and an economics degree from Ca' Foscari University in Venice. He conducts research in the field of monetary economics. His recent papers investigate the importance of financial factors for economic fluctuations, the causes of the decline in labor market participation in the US and the role of mismatch in labor market dynamics.
