Francesco Sobbrio is a Professor of Economics at Tor Vergata University of Rome and a CESifo Research Fellow. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. Before joining Tor Vergata he was an associate professor at Luiss University, an Assistant Professor at Catholic University of Milan and a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute. His research focuses on political economics and on the economics of media.
