Francesco Vona is Senior Economist at the French Economic Observatory - Sciences Po (OFCE), visiting professor at Ca’ Foscari University and research fellow of Knowledge, Technology, and Organisation (KTO) research centre of SKEMA Business School and of the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC). He works at the intersection of labour and environmental economics with particular focus on structural dynamics driven by innovation, trade, policy and skills. He also works on intergenerational inequality, notably on the role played by family background before and after labour market entry. His papers have been published in various journals such as Ecological Economics, Energy Economics, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, Journal of Economic Geography, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics and Research Policy. Much of his research has been funded by the European Commission.
