Francisco Rodríguez Fernández

Professor of Economics at University of Granada

Francisco Rodríguez Fernández was born in Granada (Spain) in 1975 and obtained his BA in Economics for the University of Granada and PhD in Economics and Business for the University of Granada and he has also followed PhD studies in the universities of Bologna and Modena. He is now Professor of Economics at the University of Granada. He is also Senior Researcher at the Spanish Savings Banks Foundation-Funcas. He has been team member of several R&D projects for international public and private bodies. He has been Vice-Dean-Research of the School of Economics and Business at the University of Granada. He has participated in several studies for the European Central Bank, the European Commission, the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, the Spanish Ministry of Labor and for several financial institutions. He has also been Visiting Research Fellow for institutions such as the New York University, and the University of Alberta-Canada. He is author of more than 80 articles and publications in top-leading international economics and finance journals such as Journal of Money Credit and Banking, Review of Finance, European Economic Review or the Journal of Banking and Finance.
