Frank van Tongeren is heading the SMART data and modelling unit in the Trade and Agriculture directorate of the Organisation for Economic Development and Co-operation (OECD). His work covers advanced management of data cycles and data analytics and modelling. His research focusses on evidence-based trade- and agricultural policy analysis, with an emphasis on using applied models. He holds a PhD in economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
