Frank Vitaro

Professor of Psychoeducation (retired) at University Of Montreal

Dr. Frank Vitaro is a retired Professor of Psychoeducation at the University of Montreal. His research focusses on the interplay between individual, family-related, and peer-related factors in the etiology of aggression, delinquency, and substance use in youth utilizing a genetically informed longitudinal twin design. Dr. Vitaro has published over 400 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters and his research has been consistently funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Sciences, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and the Fonds Québécois de Recherche sur la Société et la Culture.
