Prof. Dr. Gabriel Felbermayr is director of the Austrian Institute for Economic Research in Vienna and a professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Before that, he was president of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. He a member of the scientific advisory board to the German Federal ministry for Economic Affairs. His research deals with international trade agreements, as well as with the interactions between trade policy and various outcomes such as unemployment, inequality, or CO2 emissions.
