Gabriel Leon is a Lecturer in Political Economy in the Department of Political Economy at King's College London. Prior to joining King's, he was the Bevil Mabey Fellow in Economics at St Catharine's College, University of Cambridge. Gabriel's research is primarily concerned with conflict and institutions; he has written papers on the causes of coups d'etat, the determinants of military interventions in politics, and the impact of riots on democratic change. He is currently examining how violence spreads over space and time.
